Where to stay in Cebu
Arriving at Mactan international airport, you might want to stay one or two nights in Cebu City.
There are many places to stay, most of them can be booked online with www.agoda.com.
The Alpa City Suites in Mandaue offers great value for money and is only a few minutes away from the big shopping malls, SM and Ayala.

How to go
From Cebu City it is around 160 km to the little port of Maya at the northern tip of Cebu Island.
You can take the public bus from the North Bus Terminal, just 2 minutes away from the Alpa City Suites. The bus ride will take 4 to 5 hours and you should leave early in order to catch the last ferry in Maya.
If you like it a bit more comfortable, you can hire a private driver. Rates start at 2500,-PhP, depending on the number of guests. The trip in your private car will take around three hours. We will be happy to organize your personal driver, please contact us.
In Maya you will go on one of the original outrigger boats to be ferried to Malapascua. The boat ride takes around 45 minutes.
Be aware, the last ferry from Maya is leaving at 3 p.m., sometimes even earlier. Arriving in Maya at 12 noon, you will be sure to catch the boat at 12:30.
About money
There is no ATM on Malapascua. The next possibility to get cash is in Bogo, around 45 minutes away from Maya.
