The Cebu-Mactan International Airport has both domestic and International flights daily. The airport is located in Lapu-lapu City, a good 30 minute drive to Cebu city.

FROM CEBU CITY TO MAYA

The little village of Maya, located at the northern tip of Cebu Island, it part of the Municipality of Daan-Bantayan, Cebu. It is your jump- off point to Malapascua Island. To get there by bus, take a cab to the North Bus Terminal, located in the reclamation area. Take the bus that has "Maya" written on its sign-board. You may choose from any of these bus companies: CERES Liners, Rough Riders or Cebu Auto Bus. The trip normally takes 3.5 to 4 hours. Fare is Php68 to Php80 pesos only for non air-conditioned bus. They have hourly schedules that starts as early as 4:00am and until 4:00pm. It is recommended that you leave early and not leave later than 12:00pm since the last boat that leaves Maya port is at 4:00pm. In case of excessive luggage there are porters that can assist you in the bus terminal and upon reaching Maya.

There are also rent-a-cars and Vans from the Cebu-Mactan International Airport. Rates normally would be Php2,500 for a car and Php4,000 for a van.

FROM MAYA TO MALAPASCUA ISLAND

From the port of Maya, there are outrigger boats that will take you directly to Malapascua. The trip will take at least 40minutes. Fare is at Php40 pesos per person. The first trip is at 7:30am, last one is at 4:00pm. They normally wait until they get at least 15 passengers. If you want to get a boat to leave earlier, you may charter one for only Php800. And if there other passengers on board already, its wise to tell the boatman that you will just pay for the difference of the charter price.

BOAT FROM SAN ISIDRO (LEYTE) TO MAYA

A big outrigger boat leaves San Isidro for Maya daily around 8:00am and vice versa.

BOAT FROM STA. FE (BANTAYAN ISLAND) TO MALASPASCUA

To get to Malapascua from Sta. Fe you will have to charter a boat.
